v0.3.1 worklog is out: /standup and /worklog

A mod for Claude Code

What did I do yesterday?
Ready for standup.

worklog reads the sessions you've already had and your repos' git, and lays out your work day by day: every repo, grouped by PR and branch, with the time spent. Type /standup before the meeting; type /worklog week when the timesheet is due.

  • Shows, never sends
  • Every repo at once
  • Terminal and desktop app
The worklog pane in the Claude desktop app, on Thursday 22 October 2026: 6h 19m across 3 repos, 5 branches, 2 PRs and 1 review, the day split by repo in one bar. Under it each branch has a timeline of its stretches from 09:00 to 18:00: my-app's #42 checkout-redesign, Redesign the checkout page, 2h 58m, PR open, opened to show what was asked, its three commits and the folders it changed; main, 1h 15m; api's #118 rate-limit, merged, 1h 32m; and docs, 28m, committed by hand.
Figures are illustrative.

Why you'll want it

You did the work in Claude Code, so Claude Code already knows what it was. worklog turns its logs into the answer for standup and the hours for your timesheet.

Every repo, by PR then branch

Sessions in any repo on your machine, worktrees counted toward their main checkout. Each PR or branch gets a one-line headline (the PR's title, else the session's name) and a line of counts: commits, files, test runs.

Time that adds up

A minute two sessions share goes mostly to the one you were typing in, so a day's branches add up to the time you were actually at it. Claude working alone past 30 minutes is shown apart, not added to your day.

Git and GitHub too

Commits and branch switches you make by hand, outside Claude, count as your work. With gh signed in, PRs get GitHub's titles and states, and a standup ends with the PRs you reviewed and the ones still open.

A week's timesheet

A row per branch, a column per day, rounded to 15 minutes with each day still adding up. Copy it as a table or CSV, or save the CSV.

At home on both

In the desktop app the day is split by repo in one bar and each branch gets a timeline of its stretches. In the terminal the same is drawn in your theme's colors with block characters.

Shows, never sends

It reads the logs Claude Code already keeps and your repos' git, and shows you what it finds when you ask. Nothing is posted anywhere, and nothing is summarised by a model. Finished days are archived, so last month still adds up.

Two commands: one for the meeting, one for the record

On Monday, /standup covers Friday and anything you did at the weekend. When the week's hours are due, it's a timesheet.

A Claude Code terminal after /standup week: the week of Mon 19 Oct as a timesheet, 28h 15m. A row per repo and branch, a column per day, rounded to 15 minutes: my-app #42 checkout-redesign 18:15 over five days, api #118 rate-limit 6:15, docs main 1:15; each day's total underneath, 6:15 on Monday.
/standup
Since your last work day, and today so far: each repo, its PRs and branches, what they were and how long they took.
/standup full
With what you asked, the commits and the folders changed under each branch.
/standup week · /standup last week
The week as a timesheet, a row per branch and a column per day.
/standup copy
Any of the above, put on your clipboard as well, ready to paste into Slack.
/worklog · /worklog yesterday
Any day in a pane, with a timeline of when you worked. Press a branch for its details; p and n move a day.
/worklog week
The week's timesheet in the pane: c copies it as a table, v as CSV, s saves the CSV.

Install in under a minute

  1. In a Claude Code terminal session, type this at the prompt:

    /plugin install worklog --marketplace aseem-upadhyay/qol-mods
  2. Answer y to add the marketplace, then pick the user scope so worklog loads in every session.

  3. That's it. It reads the logs you already have, so /standup works straight away, back as far as Claude Code has kept them.

Needs macOS or Linux and python3 3.9 or newer. gh, signed in, adds PR titles, states, reviews and open PRs. Windows isn't supported yet.
